last, No. 15769, and to previous correspondence, I am
directed to request you to convey to the Saclutary of

decided here to overprint stumps for bin Agencies as already suggested, the Secretary of State is now in a position to authorize the Crom Agents for the Colonies to supply, to the order of this Office, stamps identical ith those printed for the Government of Hong Kong. I is
contemplate that the Board of Inland Revenue might he
willing to carry out the overprinting; and it is understood that thone moule bo no difficulty in eking a
direct settlerent rith the Cron Agents as suggested in
Sir F. Lugand's disretch of the 24t: of April last, of which a cory was annexed to your letter of the 26th of May. In that case the Crown Agents would no doubt claim from this Office direct the cost price of the stamps
supplied.
